New Bergere And Aqua Sky
We hope that you have been enjoying our new non-toxic, VOC free, natural and food-contact safe MilkPaint™ formula! We’re tickled pink about our new colors, product names and feel of our new brand.
As we make our way through our color palette, we’ve been releasing new colors (like Sunkissed) and re-releasing old favorites like Boxwood.
This month, we’re happy to announce that Bergere has been reformulated and will be available in the next week or two at your local MMSMP Retailer! We are also releasing Eulalie’s Sky under a new name - Aqua Sky.
Let’s take a dive into the nuances of these colors, shall we?
Bergere
Bergere is one of the soothing colors in our European Collection. You can hear how it’s pronounced here.
This smokey blue/gray is lighter and more blue than Aviary. It doesn’t have the green tones that Aqua Sky does, and it’s not as vibrant as French Enamel.
Bergere fits right in with the soft pastels of our European Collection. Can you see how it’s much more blue than Mora?
These samples were finished with MilkWax™ - Clear
Bergere takes on a deeper tone when sealed with our MilkOil™. It looks absolutely lovely when topped with our MilkWax™ - White for a soft French feel. Or, add patina with MilkWax™ - Antiquing for a more aged look.
Aqua Sky
This peppy shade of aqua is actually the new Eulalie’s Sky! Even though it has a new name, this happy color still evokes the sky that Eulalie the cow was grazing under in Miss Mustard Seed’s painting she loves so much.
Aqua Sky is one of the colors in our Coastal Collection, which will be released later on in the Spring. Every breezy shade in this collection has a perfectly nautical name. We’ll tell you more about those colors as it gets nearer to launch time!
When compared with the other blue/greens in our line, Aqua Sky has a charm of its own. It’s not as teal as Teal Ocean (formally known as Kitchen Scale) and it’s more saturated than Mora.
Aqua Sky looks perfectly coastal when topped with our MilkWax™ - White. It takes on a lovely beach vibe and looks so bright and cheery up against bright clean accents.
