Let’s chat about November’s MMSMP Color of the Month. It’s our vintage green, Layla's Mint! 

Layla's Mint was created for Layla Palmer of "The Lettered Cottage." It is a vintage color that can be found on historical landmarks across America. This aromatic green reminds us of the fleshy leaves of succulents, vintage jadeite glassware, and the crinkled leaves of lichen. 

Layla's Mint is available in our new 100% natural, eco-friendly formula.

Layla's Mint is a part of the European Color Collection. It pairs well with the collection's colors, Arabesque, Bergere, Marzipan, Mora, and Schloss.

Layla's Mint is a versatile and calming color that can work well in a variety of settings, from a cozy living room to a bright and airy kitchen. It's a great choice if you want to create a soothing and relaxing atmosphere in your home. Try using it on decor pieces or even small furniture pieces, like chairs and stools to add a bit of color.

The Chippy Look

Layla's Mint looks so beautiful when it's chipped back. Thirteen Hundred North Design created this stunning dresser. To create a similar look you can paint your entire piece in a dark color, like Curio, then add Layla's Mint over the top. MilkWax™ Antiquing can also help add dimension and authentic age to your piece. 

For the Love Creations added thick layers of Layla’s Mint for extra texture to this piece. Paired with Linen for the center drawer. This piece was then distressed and finished with MilkWax™ Clear, then Antiquing and Saddle Brown on the details.
