Kitchen Makeover with Milk Paint

feature.jpg

Olivia from Olivia Wagner Photography is a simply amazing job on her kitchen makeover using MMS milk paint.

Olivia wanted to give the kitchen cabinets a farmhouse look with an under-sink curtain. To create the farmhouse look, she painted the upper cabinets white and the lower kitchen cupboards a vintage green color using milk paint.

Here's a before and after of the kitchen:

So what color did Olivia use for the lower cupboards? It’s a custom color using MMS milk paint. This vintage green color recipe is a 50/50 mix of MMSMP Lucketts Green and Teal Ocean (Previously Kitchen Scale).

Olivia sewed the sink curtain and matching cafe window panels from an old fitted sheet found at the thrift store.

This vintage green pairs beautifully with the butcher block counters and beadboard wainscoting for a vintage farmhouse look! Olivia added a vintage breadbox and kitchen utensils to add to the farmhouse charm.

Just a beautiful transformation!  Take a look at how her dining and living room turned out on her blog.
