BEFORE + AFTER | custom color

We love custom colors here at Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint. Darrielle (D.D's Cottage and Design) created a beautiful masterpiece!  We love this pop of color and the chippy look of this piece.

Let’s take a look at how this piece started. This dresser had a great shape, and you can see how much potential it had!

Darrielle created this custom color using some leftover MMSMP.  Cerating custom colors is a great way to use leftover milk paint, especially when you don’t have enough of a single color for a piece.

So what’s the custom color recipe? Darrielle mixed Boxwood, Flow Blue, and Ironstone and painted two coats.  Look at all the chippy goodness happening on this dresser!  See more pictures and details HERE!

Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint Team

Miss Mustard Seed’s® Milk Paint is a story about a love of milk paint that is growing with each bag sold, each workshop taught, each piece of furniture that is transformed. It is a story that starts with natural ingredients, when it's mixed with water and the color of the pigments come to life, it becomes our very favorite paint in the world. We hope it becomes your favorite too.
