Teal Ocean
Teal Ocean is one of a few colors here at MMSMP that received a new name! Formally called “Kitchen Scale”, Teal Ocean reminds us of the tropical turquoise waters of the Caribbean. It’s the smell of coconut sunblock, the sound of lapping waves and the carefree feeling of having nothing to do!
This tranquil shade of teal happens to be the darkest color in our Coastal Collection. It pairs beautifully with pops of Sunkissed and Mustard Seed Yellow.
Teal Ocean has more green in it than Flow Blue, and is darker than Aqua Sky and By The Sea. It’s the perfect color choice if you want a true teal.
In this photo, you can see how Teal Ocean compares with the other blue-greens in our collection!
It will grab your attention like the flashy tail feathers of a peacock. Let your cares drift away as you sink into its tropical beauty!
Let’s look at some inspirational furniture paint projects using Teal Ocean. Maybe you’ll get the itch to use it in your next makeover!
The team over at Vintage61 Storehouse refinished this beautiful baker’s table and hutch using Teal Ocean. To get such a dark finish, you can use MilkOil™ as your last step!
This depression-era cabinet from Flipped & Chipped Co. has a similar finish to it as well. How incredible does Teal Ocean look up against the dark wooden legs and interior?
Nicole of Thirteen Hundred North wrote a tutorial here on our blog detailing how she got this perfectly coastal Teal Ocean washed finish on this antique dresser.
