Mixing Milk Paint Thin as a Stain
Miss Mustard Seed’s® Milk Paint is an incredibly versatile style of paint. Because it comes in powdered form and is mixed with water, you have full control over its opacity and viscosity. You can mix it super thick to simulate age and texture. Use equal parts powder and water for normal/regular coverage. Or, mix it thin to use as a stain!
One of our fabulous MMS Milk Paint Retailers, Deb Cottle of Cottle & Gunn, went live on our Facebook Page with an INCREDIBLE demonstration that shows how our Milk Paint becomes more translucent as you add increasing amounts of water. Her color of choice for this demo was our beautiful gray, Trophy.
It’s our pleasure to share her expertise with all of you. Deb is so warm and cheerful - you’re going to love learning from her as she teaches you how one color of MMS Milk Paint can have so many different looks! Let’s learn how to mix Milk Paint thin to be used as a stain.
