If you missed our announcement on social media, we have a new color in the Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint line! Everyone, meet Aviary! Aviary is a smoky, blue gray color that Miss Mustard Seed custom mixed to match the original patina on an antique French bird cage she purchased at the end of May 2017. She found it on her last shopping trip before Luckett’s and decided she couldn't part with it.

The gorgeous shape and the crackling paint won her heart. It's pretty clear why Miss Mustard Seed fell in love with it!And it's easy to see how this birdcage inspired our newest color, Aviary! Aviary is darker and smokier than Shutter Gray and bluer than Trophy, and we're sure you're going to love it!

Our retailers have been busy getting ready for Aviary's official release by painting some fabulous pieces with this new hue. Sharon of I Restore Stuff in Australia painted these two lovely pieces.

And Jenn of Eight Hundred Furniture used Aviary on this mini Jacobean buffet.
