Hemp Oil on an Antique Footstool
If you haven't tried our Hemp Oil Wood Finish, we're hoping that this post will encourage you to pick up a bottle sooner than later!
This little footstool was picked up by Jenn of Eight Hundred Furniture.
The top was sporting a fabric that didn't quite match the beautiful wood on the base.
Jenn completely reupholstered the top including new padding, and a lovely piece of antique homespun.
When it came time to work on the base, she decided not to paint over the wood - it was simply too pretty!
Instead, Jenn turned to our Hemp Oil Wood Finish.
The hemp seeds that are used to make our Hemp Oil are grown and pressed in Ontario, Canada without the use of herbicides and pesticides. It doesn't contain any solvents, VOC's, or chemicals. Hemp Oil is food-safe so it's idea to use on breadboards and wooden salad bowls. It provides a breathable finish that's easy to apply with a brush or rag. Jenn used a brush to apply her Hemp Oil to the base of her footstool.
The transformation was immediate!
The wood on her footstool was so dry that she didn't need to wipe off any excess - there wasn't any! Every bit of Hemp Oil was absorbed by the dry antique wood. With a fully hydrated base and a freshly upholstered top, Jenn's footstool is looking simply lovely!
So how about you? Can you think of any projects around your home that are in desperate need of some of our Hemp Oil?
