Aviary
Let’s chat about June’s MMSMP Color of the Month. It’s our shadowy blue-gray Aviary!
It’s the color of cloudy days, misty shorelines, and the feathers of gulls gliding on a salty sea breeze.
Aviary is available in our new 100% natural, eco-friendly formula.
So, how do you finish your painted pieces? Aviary changes colors from raw (no finish) to applying finishes. To see how this Blue-Gray changes with each finish, take a peek at this photo:
Aviary
Aviary is versatile and can be paired with Bergere and Grain Sack in a blue-gray theme, with Arabesque and Mustard Seed Yellow for a soft floral theme, or with Ink Blue for a more masculine theme.
Now, let’s look at a few pieces painted in Aviary!
Add a Touch of Vintage
Aviary is a soft color that can be added to any room. It pairs well with whites and wood tones. Eight Hundred Furniture gave this East Lake dresser a fresh finish without compromising its style.
Or pair it with vintage finds and chippy white. This piece by Vibeke Svenningsen is just what this all-white setting needed.
Aviary and Farmhouse or Coastal
For the Love Creations refinished two small dressers. Showing that this color works perfectly with Farmhouse and Coastal.
Age your piece for the ultimate rustic look, as seen in this dresser by Perfectly Imperfect. You can create this look by doing a resist for chipping and then adding antiquing wax to age.
This next piece is all the things we love about our paint: chippy, rustic, and aged.
