Arabesque

Let’s chat about February’s MMSMP Color of the Month. It’s our dusty pink, Arabesque!

This dusty rose is as delicate and graceful as a prima ballerina on stage. While images of tutus and flower petals may be your first thought, Arabesque extends far beyond the reach of a little girl's bedroom or the walls of nurseries.

Arabesque is available in our new 100% natural, eco-friendly formula.

So how do you finish your painted pieces? Arabesque changes colors from raw (no finish) to applying finishes. To see how this pink changes with each finish, take a peek at this photo:

What to Pair with Arabesque

Combine Arabesque with any of our grays for a sophisticated take on pink. Accent it with champagne brass hardware, and add a nautical note with Ink Blue.

Arabesque is a part of the European Color Collection. It pairs well with the collection's colors, Layla’s Mint, Marzipan, Mora, Schloss, and Bergere.

We also love the look of Arabesque paired with Sunkissed!

Now let’s look at a few pieces painted in Arabesque!

Adding Sophistication to a Nursery

Did you see our nursery makeover using Arabesque and Sunkissed? We painted a small step tool and dresser in Arabesque to add a feminine feel, that could grow with the baby. We added frosted glass knobs to the dresser for a soft, vintage look. Mid-Mod Furniture

We love seeing mid-century-modern furniture pieces painted in MilkPaint™. This dresser was painted in Arabesque by Katie from For the Love Creations. It was sealed with MilkWax™ Clear.

Nicole of Thirteen Hundred North also used Arabesque on a mid-mod piece to create an Anthropology-Inspired Dresser.

Perfect for Spring Decor

Arabesque is perfect for using on spring decor. Cindy from reinvented Delaware paired Arabesque with Dried Lavender, By the Sea, Pink Grapefruit, and Lucketts Green to create this beautiful pinecone flower wreath for spring.
